Yes, it deserves it's own thread, easily. Now, everyone has known for a long time now that this game was gonna kick some ass. I probably shouldn't be surprised at the score IGN gave it, but hell, I'm surprised anyway.

This is the first game IGN had rated 10 in a decade. It's also the first game on any of this generation's consoles to receive a 10. If you haven't read about this game in detail yet, I suggest you do so because it's so unbelievably good. I am buying this for PS3, I know Kev is buying it for PS3. Nick is most likely buying it for PS3. Online fun will be had by all. You should buy it and join in.

i reserved GTA4 today with the strategy guide. i won't be going in at midnight to pick it up however.
i also ordered an hdmi cable, and in one more paycheck i plan to order a 32" 720p 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio lcd tv by LG. |

and just what the ef would you know about hi def tvs? i spent weeks and weeks shopping and comparing and LG had some of the best tvs with the best features. Samsung may very well be better, but i can't afford to spend 600 more on the samsung 40" i was drooling over. regardless, even if this is only 32" and 720p, when i hook it's insane 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio up to my ps3 with a gold plated HDMI 1.3 cable, it'll look just as good as some peoples' 1080p sets. needless to say, it will look good beyond comparison next to my 20" 4:3 480i crapshaith box with contrast ratio so low it can't even be measured. and composite cables... god i hate my tv. i hate my tv more than i hate school  |
