| think magnum. it dosent have that great of a seal and it would still work. if we made *Bullets* for it we could do a quicker repet. we could load them in like artarly and fill it with hairspray as we load in the round. then boom! and we open the back, last pvc shell falls out, put next one in. we would olny need like 4 so we could reload as we shoot xD. |

that might work, and now that I think of it, we could make screw in casings. Just put the tater in the back and screw on the end, which is filled with hairspray/propane/whatever, and BOOM

ok my idea
i like the artillery idea but i was thinking maybe make is like a mortar
yo klnow how the ignition cliks to make the spark?
we could make that the primer so when dropped down a tube it clicks
make a seperate reinforced pve chamber like where the black pawder is placed in a real shell
fill it with gass and seal it off with a patato
drop the completed shell down a 5 foot pipe and click BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the ignition would hang oput the bottom so on impact with the bottom of the tube it ignites

| that dose sound sweet, one prob, to get the old shell out, wouldent you half to turn the tube upsideown, or maby just unscrew the bottem xD. and you could prob finde a way to have a "ball" of airsoft bbs fit into the shells. but also, the tube would be less accret with a drop down thing. the potato would olny have till the end of the shell for a barrle. maby a way to stick them in the bottem and "drop" the tube down to launch it? |

well, Ive got an idea for a mortar.
And for the barrel, just make half the potato the size of the inner barrel. That way it doesnt slide down in the casing and it gets a good seal with the barrel.
My idea involves a mix of all the ideas. Just use like, a piece of a pasta strainer, and put the ignitor button up on the strainer, and the spark part facing down into a large gas chamber. Then fill the gas chamber and drop a tater down. It will hit the button, but be caught by the strainder, and propelled forward by the BOOM, which can pass freely between the holes of the strainer :) |
