as y'all know, i owe my mom $1200. since paying for my own books, i now owe her $1000 or so. i am completely broke at the moment, having only a few hundred in both bank accounts combined, and thats reserved for gas, bills, and hookers. but i am a material guy, and these days it seems i can't stop spending. i just bought this ps3, and i spent some giftcards on a kick ass bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo (i'm posting from the ps3 right now). on top of that, we have a season of airsoft approaching, one that will probably require a shit-ton more spending since we are making the team. so wtf is the point of this thread? bitching? no no... i want to announce my next planned giant-purchase because i find it pretty how i'm still signing my dough away.
as i just mentioned, i bought a wireless keyboard/mouse for my ps3. obviously i didn't do it for a crappy internet browser in my room. *limited ps3 text box, continue on next post*

| if you recall (you don't, don't even try to) from the huge ps3 thread from over a year ago, i boasted how the ps3 can do anything a computer can, and how i was gonna turn mine into one. well, i'm starting that project right now. i'm gonna use Yellow Dog Linux for an operating system since it was especially designed for the ps3. i can't run it until i throw out this shit T.V. and get a HDTV instead. I found a decent one for $700. that's my monetary goal right now. idk why, but the OS won't display on standard def. i already have the keyboard/mouse out of the way. my hard drive is big enough, and can be partitioned so that linux is only allowed to use a certain amount of it. the OS itself is free. once i have all of that, i'm in computer town baby. i can even throw emulators on it like my psp. then kev'll have to stop bragging about his stupid dual-core; my ps3 has EIGHT cores, chump! that's my main motivation to turn this into a computer is to use it's disgusting hardware to it's full potential. |

| lol, my computer will still beat your ps3 in computer town any day xD. but if you need help with linux, i can help a bit there. part of my computer class last year was with red hat linux (simmiler to yellow dog i think)... gota love linux's weard commands =/ |

If you somehow manage to spawn all this money outta ur ass throw some ass- money my way, because $1000 to your mom + $700+ HDtv and $100 computer software for your PS3 is bit insane bro, just how are you gonna pull this off before you shoot yourself? Are you making like small monthly payments to your mom or something? |

no monthly payment, just working and trying to get sum dosh. and hey the software doesn't cost $100 its free dude. everything about linux is free, that's what makes it freeware. i need to get a computer eventually, i just figured this was my best option. so yea, i do need to expel $1700 from my rectal cavity, so what. i didn't say it would happen overnight. i don't think i'm epic failure quite yet... i would have to have bad credit for that to be true. when i do finally get a credit card, i will pay off everyhting i buy with it right away. it defeats the purpose of having a credit card, but i don't need to be spending money i don't have when interest is involved. the only reason i want one is to build good credit.

Just to say, that black hole that you call erics girlfriend is more or less an inspiration for him. He has a job, a credit card, a decent car, and he hasnt had to sell any of his airsoft stuff. Hes pretty much doing better than most of us in a nutshell.
Anyways, im really working on scraping up some cash as well, i need alot of stuff right now and i have 0 income. |

| lol, the only things i do not have that Eric has is a girlfriend and a car, but i have 2 (in the summer 3) cars to use whenever. i never had to sell any of my airsoft stuff, and i have about $2200 in my bank account, with a debit card (debit card > credit card any day). AND IL NEVER LEARN TO SPELL! |

Even though I guess none of us can really talk with the hundreds we've spent on "toy" guns and "games."

ehehehehhh, that's a funny. i started this thread to point out what a big loser i am and now kev's getting it. buahahahaa! i still need to tell Carrie your worst fears so she can drive you nuts at work. been a little while since i talked to her...
anyway, don't discourage each other from spending money on airsoft, regardless of whether or not we should be. this is the season. it's freakin happening this time. we're all ordering a bunch of stuff to prepare for it and the season hasn't even started yet. i'm excited, it's been too long since i last lit someone up in a game. albeit they were zombies  |

lol, so true. i got a hat now to go with my setup ^_^. im full ACUed out. and according to when dan and i tested it in the woods, it dose get many of those lil burs on it when it is put on a the wall =(, But it dose seem to work as cammo, when you use decent cover (could be very very light vegetation) and the same goes with the old type cammo anyway ^_^, it was still odd when i could not spot my jacket on that wall for about 5 minutes, but once i spotted it, it was clear as day lol.
